Hailing from Fayetteville, Georgia, the rapper MVND has ben making waves in the Bay Area with his innovative style and captivating lyrics. At just 24 years old, he has swiftly etched his name in the industry, offering a refreshing perspective that infuses his music with vivid life experiences.

From an early age, MVND exhibited a deep musical inclination, mastering multiple instruments such as the piano, guitar, and low brass. However, it's his fervor for storytelling and writing that has cemented his unique musical identity. Having honed his musical skills while listening to pop icons like Michael Jackson and Adele, MVND found his rap influences in Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, and Outkast. Drawing from the wellspring of his personal journey, MVND's lyrics are raw, authentic, and often interjected with surprising wit.
 

MVND's journey into music started early, though he began recording songs in college. Since arriving in the Bay Area, he's released projects like "Himmy Neutron EP" (June 2023), "The Recipe" featuring Stunnaman (March 2023), and the acclaimed "3 Pc (EP)" (February 2023) showcasing MVND’s unmatched production skills and his capacity to craft lyrics that are simultaneously straightforward and thought-provoking.
 

His performances include AfroComicon in Oakland and wins at the "Second Mondays" open mic events, culminating in a captivating show at the Black Joy Parade in Oakland. His main focus now is crafting his debut album, designed to be the soundtrack of a hour-long flight or scenic road trip.
